We believe that sports and culture have the power to bring people together, break down barriers, and inspire positive change in our communities.

The second meeting pushed forward the work done during the previous international event in Poland, moving from analyzing the local policies and actions at the public authority level to giving voice to the community and civil society’s role in advocating for forward-looking waste management and environment protection.

The WASTE – Working for a society through Environment has been launched with the First International Event carried out from March 24th to 27th 2023 in JabÅ‚onna (Poland).

​In the picturesque towns of Vignanello and Gradoli nestled in the heart of Italy, something remarkable unfolded in May 2024. The Fourth International Event of the WASTE project brought together delegations from various European municipalities, united in a shared mission to tackle environmental challenges and foster citizen engagement.

The Fifth International Event of the WASTE Project took place from August 18 to 22, 2024, in Lahti, Finland, a city known for its forward-thinking approach to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The Third International Event of the WASTE project not only addressed critical issues in circular economy and waste management but also fostered collaboration and understanding among diverse communities. Stay tuned for updates on the upcoming Fourth International Event as we continue our journey towards sustainable and responsible waste management.

The First International Workshop of the EUCOMMvsDISINFO project, held in Larnaca, Cyprus, from March 9th to 12th, concluded successfully after four days of intense discussions and collaborations. Organized and hosted by the VAMOS association, the event saw the participation of six organizations from Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Greece, and Poland.

The “EuroCamp: Equal Access For All” project was born to support the concept of social integration promulgated at the World Summit for Social Development of March 1995, with particular attention to disadvantaged people on the economic, cultural, and social level.

WAVES is a Project promoted by sport clubs and education centres, with the aim to encourage the participation in sport and physical activities, especially by supporting social inclusion and equal opportunities and the EUWeek of Sport2019/2020.

The project rises from the acknowledgement of a fast change in communication and media technologies and in the growing diffusion of fake news and propaganda related contents through the new media, which are creating a constant threat for the cohesion of the EU project as a whole and for the solidarity tissue at local level.

IDEAL (Inclusive Didactics at European Applied Level) project fosters inclusive education through tailored English language courses, site visits to schools for best practices, and cultural excursions. It enhances the skills of 13 participants from ISTITUTO COMPRENSIVO "G. FALCONE E P. BORSELLINO," promoting cross-cultural understanding and effective teaching methodologies.

The project wants to favour the social inclusion of over 60, overcoming the obstacles created by the evolution of communication technology and global languages with a shared best practice in the sector of quality education for the elders.

SPRINT is a 18 month long Erasmus Plus Sport project proposal aimed at promoting participation in sport and physical activity and spreading awareness of the benefits of sport for all, not only for adults, to prepare them for a healthy ageing, but also for the young generations to create a strong and moral character in them and make them examples of excellent European citizenship.

STREETS is a 24 months Project with the aim to promote street sports. The main priorities of the Project are to save, to keep active some urban areas in the cities or villages , and to support prevention, educational and innovative approaches to tackle violence, racism and intolerance in sport.

Working for a Society Through Environment - WASTE is bottom-up initiative that aims to raise awareness on the role of small communities in promoting a correct waste management, through the promotion of the EU action on waste management, together with the environment action programme to 2030 and European Green Deal.
